Scope of application
Prescribes rules on the metrological and technical requirements relating to weights of nominal mass of 1 mg to 50 kg which are used for the verification of scales.

Weights should comply with the stipulated metrological and technical requirements.
National action - Weights are subject to initial and periodical verification. Valid Type Approval Certificate required.
