Scope of national rule

Production, trade, transport, storage, use, destruction, research, testing and conformity assessment of pyrotechnic substances (explosives) as well as retail.

Marking of explosive substances which, in accordance with Article 3, paragraph 1, subparagraph 9 of the Law on explosive substances and production and trade of weapons, also includes pyrotechnic substances.
 

Main requirements that the business user needs to know about

Pursuant to Article 9 of the Law, pyrotechnic substances (explosive substances) may be placed on the market of the Republic of Croatia, when the Ministry of the Interior issued an approval for placing on the market and use thereof

Pursuant to Article 2 of the Ordinance, pyrotechnic articles (explosive substances) are packed in appropriate inner and outer packaging, and all markings on the inner and outer packaging must be marked visibly, legibly and indelibly in the Croatian language.
