Main requirements that the business user needs to know about
Article 91
Metal aluminium tubes can be made from aluminium or aluminium alloys whose purity must conform with the requirements of European standards and they must be coated with protective varnish.
Protective varnish used to coat the inside of the metal tube must meet the requirements from articles 31 through 71 and article 82 of this Regulation.
Article 92
Sealants for the metal tube lid must be made from a material which does not dissolve in the tube content.
Sealants from paragraph 1 of this article must be applied so that they completely fill and cover the bottom of the lid, and they must not peel of from the lid when the tube is opened.
Metal tube lid, together with the sealant must provide airtight sealing of the tube opening.
