Scope of application
Prescribes rules on the metrological requirements relating to infrared thermometers used for the continuous measure of the human body temperature.
Main requirements that the business user needs to know about
Infrared Thermometers should comply with the stipulated metrological and technical requirements.
National action – Infrared Thermometers are subject to initial and periodical verification. Valid Type Approval Certificate required.
